Obedience Is Key: Break Free from the Ties That Bind You

Updated: Jun 7

Obedience is like a sweet fragrance, pleasing to Yah (God) and a form of nourishment to the soul. Too often, we allow the flesh to hold us captive. It lies, feeding off wounds not yet healed, and it bargains when it knows it’s going to be put in its place. Step forward and reclaim your rightful position as a child of Yah.

Perhaps you’ve stumbled, given away your power, and neglected your spiritual calling. Maybe you’ve rejected wise counsel or failed to seek it out, allowing the flesh to lead you into a ditch. It’s not too late. Let your flesh know who’s the boss!

Look in the mirror, remind yourself who you truly are and who you belong to! Don’t be a spiritual leper, casting yourself out of the garden of life. Get up, dust yourself off, and walk upright. Feed your spirit with His goodness and receive Yah’s mercy today. But don’t fool yourself—it comes at a price. You must lay down those fleshly desires that are killing you slowly. There’s something greater that He has for you. Don't allow self-sabotage, condemnation, and deception to blind you to what is required. The Master wants all of you, every piece, so that he can mold you and use you for the greater. Do you believe He can? How strong is your faith?

He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Remember this: Yah’s word is pure and a shield to those who put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5).

Move past the sludge of regret, disappointment, and defeat. Set your eyes upon His glory and reconnect with the source that first pulled you out of the darkness. Messiah is our example. It is written:

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. (John10:15-17)

Yahusha obeyed the Father onto death for us. Will you lay down the things that easily intoxicate you, causing harm to your spirit? (Hebrews 12:1) Will you give Him your all and quit rebelling against his commands? Will you exit the train of disobedience and run to the Father for his forgiveness and repent?

Unless you take the necessary steps, you will not be able to endure; you'll willingly accept defeat and allow your flesh to be king in your life. Let it not be, beloved Saints. Haven't you wasted enough time? Will you incline your ear to His call? Recommit yourself to follow Yahusha. Get right while there’s still time.
