The Joseph Mission

Years ago, a preacher visited a small gathering, seeking out the son of an older couple in attendance. He asked them to bring their son the following day, where he would deliver a prophetic word. That son was Pastor Cherry.

When the young man arrived, the preacher released a profound prophecy, declaring him a modern-day Joseph. The word came with a divine charge—not only to Pastor Cherry but also to his wife, urging her to stand beside him in unwavering faith. Pastor Cherry embraced the prophecy, recognizing it as confirmation of the purpose, plans, and passions already stirring within him—but now revealed on a much larger scale. This vision would require land, livestock, housing, and abundant resources to fulfill.

What began with simple obedience and a small parcel of land has grown into over 100 acres, and the calling has only become more urgent. Through prayer, planning, and steadfast dedication, the vision birthed the Acts 2 Community, a reflection of early believers living in unity and preparedness.

The Joseph Mission is a call to action—a gathering of faithful hearts devoted to preparing a refuge for Yah’s (God’s) people as prophecy unfolds. Zion’s Refuge is committed to being fully equipped—both spiritually and physically—to support and shelter those whom the Most High is drawing in these challenging and prophetic times.

Time is of the essence. As in the days of Joseph, provision must be stored, land must be developed and cultivated, and community must be established—not just for survival, but for the glory of Yahuah.

Laying Bricks for the Kingdom

We are a Five-Fold Ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13) called to prepare places of refuge and build Kingdom communities that reflect the heart of Yahuah. Our mission is rooted in the call of Isaiah 61, the charge of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), and the instruction of James 1:27 (KJV):

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

🛤️ United States & Mexico – Kingdom Refuge Network

Help us prepare an “Overground Railroad” for the people of Yah—a strategic network of simple dwellings, campgrounds, and community gardens, equipped with wells and essential resources. These places of refuge will serve as safe havens and training grounds for believers drawn by the Ruach (Spirit) in these prophetic times.

🌍 Ghana, Africa – Timber to Tools

In Ghana, we are turning timber into tools—using abundant red wood resources to fund the mission. We are:

Employing local laborers
Transporting natural resources to market
Sustaining operations that will fund the long-term vision: a school, orphanage, hospital, farmland, a community center, and more for the glory of Yah through Christ!
